UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon says the United Nations must respond to the growing demands for justice around the world and usher in a new era of respect for the rule of law.
He said this in his remarks at the Security Council meeting on the rule of law and transitional justice in conflict and post-conflict settings. The Secretary General said we have to create a world where the rule of law‚ social justice‚ accountability‚ and culture of prevention will be the foundations for sustainable and durable peace.
