The coordination committee of ruling coalition will continue its meeting in Islamabad today to finalise charge-sheet against the President for impeachment.
This was stated by the federal information minister Sherry Rehman while talking to newsmen after a meeting of the committee yesterday. She said that a comprehensive and historic charge-sheet is being prepared and there is complete unity amongst the coalition partners.
The information minister said that contact had been made with about three hundred and fifty members of parliament and many PML(Q) members are in contact with us on this issue. She said PML(Q) members are not in favor of using article 58-2(B) and this means that the president is losing his support. To a question, she expressed the hope that Makhdoom Amin Fahim will vote against the dictatorship. About giving safe passage to the president, she said it is not the mandate of the committee and decision in this regard will be taken by the heads of coalition partners.
