The emergency relief cell of cabinet division, on the directive of the Prime Minister has handed over one thousand more tents to the Punjab government for distribution amongst the flood affected people.
The Prime Minister has also detailed a helicopter to assist the Punjab government in relief and rescue operations at Rajanpur. The cabinet division emergency relief cell is in close liaison with provincial governments to monitor the flood situation and concerned agencies have been advised to take immediate action in the event of emergency situation.
