Russians have opened new front in war with Georgia.

The Georgian interior ministry says city of Gori is under massive attack from Russian artillery and planes and ground forces are preparing for an assault. Russia earlier took control of South Ossetia, forcing Georgian troops to withdraw.
Russia's navy says it has sunk a Georgian missile boat that tried to attack Russian warships in the black sea. The United Nations Security Council held fourth meeting to discuss the conflict in south Ossetia.
During open meeting, the Georgian ambassador called on the Security Council to take immediate action. The U.S. ambassador blamed Russia for blocking a ceasefire agreement. Russia's ambassador said he would agree to a ceasefire once Georgia's military left South Ossetia.
