In Sindh, floodwaters have severely affected Khairpur Nathan Shah, Mehrr and Johi Tehsils of Daddu district.
Khairpur Nathan Shah has been completely inundated while cuts have been made in Mehrr drain to save the city. Danger still persists in Mehrr where the floodwater is colliding with the Mehrr protective bund.
A large number of people have already left Johi and the army and navy teams are engaged in shifting the marooned people of these areas to safer places. Water pressure at Kotri barrage is constantly reducing with the passage of water to the Arabian Sea.
