The operation against unlawful elements continues in Khyber Agency and Peshawar.
During their action, law enforcing agencies have nabbed 92 miscreants and recovered huge quantities of arms and ammunition from them. The authorities have relaxed curfew in Bara Tehsil of Khyber Agency from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Talking to media in Peshawar, NWFP governor Owais Ahmad Ghani said the operation against the misguided elements continue until law and order is restored. He said the people are satisfied with the outcome of the operation. In South Waziristan, security forces conducted a search operation in adjoining villages of the semi-tribal area of Jandola. Overall it was a peaceful operation.
And in swat, spokesman of Tehrik-E-Taliban Muslim Khan has said their links with the NWFP government have now been restored. However, the time and venue of negotiations between them would be finalized later.
