According to flood warning centre of Lahore, river Kabul is in very high flood at Nowshera.
River Indus is also in very high flood at Kalabagh and Chashma and river Jhelum at Mangla and head Rasool is also in very high flood. While according to Dpo Nowshera flood water has entered into Nowshera Kalan and scores of people have been marooned in their houses. Following the appeal of the district administration six army rescue helicopters have arrived to take part in the relief and rescue operations in the flood stricken areas.
