In Peshawar, the terrorists who overpowered their guards and took them hostage during interrogation at the building of law enforcing agencies have surrendered after a successful operation by the security forces personnel.
DG, ISPR, Major General Athar Abbas told PTV that the situation has been brought under complete control, the two security personnel taken hostages have been recovered and the terrorists have surrendered. CCPO Peshawar Liaqat Ali told reporters that three militants had seized their guards' weapons and started shooting. He said one guard sustained injuries during the operation. Army and police later blocked all the roads leading to the area while helicopters hovered overhead.
