PPP co-chairman Senator Asif Ali Zardari says it is up to the leadership of coalition partners and the people to decide the fate of President Musharraf after his impeachment.
In an interview with a private TV channel in Islamabad he said that the president was advised two months ago to resign that was based on a mature and democratic approach. Mr. Zardari said he has no differences with deposed chief justice and he will be restored after clearance of some constitutional obligations once settled on the pre November 03 position. He said the next president himself will demand the removal of clause 58 (2) (B).
