Pakistan Army has established over 100 relief camps for flood affected people and distributed 2200 tons of dry ration. Over 1.5 million cooked meal packets have been distributed among the marooned people.

Another 2 C-130 plane carrying ration, dates and medicines were dispatched to Quetta from Gujranwala. Additional medical teams have been moved from Quetta to Dera Murad Jamali. Army dispatched a consignment of 40,000 liters of portable water, dry ration, medicines in a c-130 from Lahore to Sibbi and another 14 trucks of relief items to southern Punjab. Army has so farrescued over 7 Lakh stranded people.
Three water plants have been installed including 25 filtration plants in various flood affected districts of Southern Punjab. Army engineers have opened Gilgit – Skardu road for all types of traffic. 45 tons of relief goods have been handed over to civil administration for distribution in Chilas, Gilgit and Skardu. The relief centers established by frontier corps at Chakarra, Sherigal, Shahikot and Kohat are providing cooked food and relief items to the flood affected people.
