Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has held talks with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and foreign minister Ali Babacan in Istanbul.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and deals on supplying natural gas and electricity to turkey. However, the agreements could not be finalized due to differences over pricing. Addressing a news conference, Ahmadinejad hoped that his country and turkey would soon conclude deals.
