President Pervez Musharraf has said the economic reforms of the country are creating an enabling environment for the private sector to be come an engine of growth. As a result of this, Pakistan has become one of the attractive destinations for investment.
He made these remarks while talking to Dr. Detley Rose, chairman Polysius A.G. Germany who called on him in Rawalpindi. Dr. Rose said they are investing in Pakistan due to its economic buildup witnessed in the last seven years and look for venture partners and long term partnership for investment in Pakistan. The president emphasized that Pakistan is looking for trade and investment which would result in job creation, poverty alleviation and better education of the masses.
