The U.S. secretary of state Condoleezza Rice has criticized the Israeli policy of settlements.
Rice who returned to the Middle East in a fresh bid to inject impetus into sluggish peace talks, said Israel has not done enough to ease restrictions on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. She said during her stay in region, she will have discussions on the roadmap obligations. Rice is due to hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas today.
