Australia were 482 for four in reply to India’s first innings 191 at the close on the second day of the second Test.
Skipper Michael Clarke was unbeaten on 251 with Mike Hussey not out 55. Clarke started the second day of the Test against India 47 not out, and still found himself in the middle by stumps with Australia 4-482 and the tourists without answers. Clarke was congratulated by India’s Sachin Tendulkar and received a standing ovation from the crowd as he left the ground. Australia has lead of 1-0 in the test series.
