Chairman Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA), Hamid Yar Hiraj called on Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani,
here at his Parliament House Chamber and apprised him about the pace of rehabilitation in the earthquake hit areas of Azad Kashmir and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. The Prime Minister directed the ERRA Chairman to prioritize the projects and complete only those projects which have already been completed to the extent of 30 percent. He also directed that ERRA must avoid undertaking new projects and instead focus on the completion of ongoing projects. The Prime Minister asked the Chairman ERRA to give comprehensive briefing, spelling out all the details and programmes of the rehabilitation of the people and also as to how much time it would take to complete it. Hamid Yar Hiraj informed the Prime Minister of UN Saskawa Award conferred on ERRA for its excellent performance in the government departments of South Asian countries.
