In Bajaur Agency, negotiations between political administration and local Taliban have been successful and both sides have agreed to observe ceasefire in the area.
Earlier, in Loysum area of Bajour agency, ten militants were killed and thirty others injured in fighting between the security forces and militants. Four security personnel were also injured in the fighting. In Tank, one security person was killed and another injured in a remote control bomb blast on the vehcile of security forces. In Mamah Gut, armed persons attacked the caravan of security forces and no information of damage to life has been received. In Tehsil Khar, five people were critically injured, including three women, when a shell hit a house.
