Hong Kong has raised a storm warning as a severe tropical storm, Kammuri, is close to the city.
The Hong Kong observatory said winds with speed reaching to 63 kilometers per hour forced theClosure of the city's financial markets and causing flight delays. Tropical cyclones normally happen from May to November, and are particularly prevalent in September. Local residents and tourists alike still decided to walk around the financial district despite the weather. Tropical storm Kammuri was about 150 kilometers south of Hong Kong this morning and moving west-northwest at about 14 kilometers per hour.
